PAWS with Purpose

Tender Home Health is partnering with the PAWS (Parent Awareness, Workshops and Support) to provide 40 families with essential packages during these tough times.

PAWS is a family resource center in Santa Clarita who’s mission is to provide information for students, parents, and staff by encouraging student success, family health and wellness, and parenting/Staff support resources.

This time is especially hard for the families due to the COVID pandemic as many families have lost their jobs, unable to meet the financial burdens to maintain food and housing for their families, and/or have underlying medical conditions that prevent them from leaving their homes. Many of the students at Golden Valley High School rely on PAWS Center to eat, get clothes, get groceries, and/or any and all types of support.

Tender joins small businesses Toro Grillhouse, RIISE, Paperpact, Confectionsbyli and Coach Vee to take action in fighting this pandemic by uniting with a purpose. Even though small businesses were also hit, we wanted to pool our resources together and be part of the change that we want to see.

Tender Home Health will match each donation for these essential packages. The packages will contain food, toiletries, masks and a hand written card to encourage families to remain positive. Our goal is to create at least 40 packages. Any donation is appreciated, even $1. Each package will cost about $70. You can donate through the PAWS with Purpose through Gofundme.

On July 11th, we will be raising awareness about the cause during Toro Grillhouse’s 6th anniversary (514 W Colorado St, Glendale, CA 91204). Join us for some food, music and great people who want to make a difference. The packages will be created and distributed to each family on July 18, 2020.

Thank you very much for considering helping this cause. Even if you cannot afford to donate right now, we would love your support in anyway. You can share the cause on social media or better yet, attend the event at Toro’s on the 11th to show your support.
