Thanksgiving is going to look a bit different this year, but that does not mean you have to be alone. Things are changing week to week, so the rules are always different. But, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has some guidelines for low to high risk activities to help guide your Thanksgiving plans this year. Here are the low to moderate risk activities to assist you in planning –
Low Risk Activities
- Host a small meal with people in your household
- Help those around you who are at higher risk by preparing meals and delivering them safely
- Host a virtual dinner with family and/or friends
- Shop online for Black Friday sales rather then go to the stores in person
- Watch all Thanksgiving events on television
Moderate Risk Activities
- Host a small outdoor dinner
- Visit outdoor pumpkin patches where it is required to social distance, use sanitizer and wear masks
- Attend small outdoor activities with safety precautions in place
